Dear Fellow Members,

I would like to remind you all of our upcoming AGM
on Friday the 14th November at 8pm.

The AGM will take place in the Boardwalk Cafe, Beach Road, Clifden.
Your input to the year ahead is very important to us and we would love to hear any ideas you would have.
We promise not to take up you whole evening, but hope you would join us as we look back on 2014 and set the wheels in motion for the year ahead.

We would like to offer you a special deal of 10% off your 2015 membership
if paid in full on the night.

This year our regatta is a little earlier than usual.

It is intended to run a two day event
on Saturday and Sunday the 2nd and 3rd of August 2014,
that is the August Bank Holiday weekend.

"Notice of Race"
It is intended to run races for yachts, dinghies and Traditional boats
It is intended to run 2 races for each class on each day
It is intended to have a "Skipper's Brriefing" at 1pm on each day
It is intended to have the first start signal by 2pm each day.
More details and any changes to this event
will be announced at the first Skipper's Briefing at 1pm on Saturday

"Sailing Instructions"
may be posted closer the event or on the day.

We do not have "online entry" available for this event
but you can email your "Expression of Interest" to enter the event
by emailing entries@clifdenboatclub.com

DATE NUMBER 2 and im looking for people to help with promoting this day for support to nick kats and his next passage.
If some of you can it would be nice to sail out with him for a small bit.

Simon has put on a special menu, in the Clubhouse, for the Easter Sailing Camp.
This runs Monday 21st April to Friday 25th.

French nature documentary It was released on April 22, 2010 in 1,200 theaters in the US for Earth Day.[2] The film explores Earth's five oceans.[3] Budgeted at around €50 million (US$66 million), it was filmed in over 50 different places and took four years to film.[4] The movie is a high-quality filming documentary featuring ocean animals. It reflects the need to respect nature and demonstrates the negative aspects of human activity on animals.

Showing this Thursday night in The Boardwalk Cafe at Clifden Boat Club in full High Definition. There will be a soup, followed by Lasagne and potatoes available from 6pm onwards for 6euro per person. and a bucket for donations to the Clifden Boat Club, Please indicate if you are intending to eat before hand so i can get a good idea of numbers.
