Jackie Ward was on Connemara FM yesterday evening, Sunday 1st March 7pm.
The show is called "Senior side of the street".
It's an hour long and refers to his lifetime in general.
He makes reference to Clifden Boat Club in the 1950s
and his involvement in the club in the early 70s ...
... and how the club came to be in it's current form.

Junior Social night Friday 13th March. Dinner and movie night. 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
€10 per child. PG film.
Comedy 'Alexander and The Terrible Horrible No Good Day'
looks to be a good movie for all ages.
Really hope to see your children there.

Hi everyone. Well apart from one small technical glitch ( my fault ) we had a great movie night. Simon Trezise provided a feast for us all followed by homemade brownies ( thanks Katherine ) then treats as we settled in to watch the film. A big thank you to Kiara Lochrin Mannion and Patricia O'Toole who helped make it such a successful night.
Hope to see all the kids again in March.
We raised €165 towards new boats.
Many thanks for all your support.

This Friday's Dinner and a Movie Night is now full.
There is another planed for the Friday before Paddy's Weekend.

Hi all.
Dinner and a movie for kids this Friday evening 30th January from 6.30pm to 9pm
€10 each. Venue-Clifden Boat Club.
Movie is Earth to Echo (PG).
Please let us know what kids are coming as we need to let Simon know how many to feed.
It's a fundraiser for kids equipment at Clifden Boat Club.
