Sail Training for all ages is at the core of Clifden Boat Club. Our sailing courses are open to everyone and we are constantly fundraising in order to make our courses more affordable and inclusive. Recently we have been given funds by Clifden people and businesses. Connemara Credit Union got the ball rolling with a particularly generous donation which helped a lot of young people start sailing where they might not have been able to before. More funds were volunteered by local people when they heard about this opportunity and we were able to sign up some more pupils who will learn to sail this summer.
This has given people from all walks of life the opportunity, not only to learn to sail but to socialise with people of their own age and different backgrounds.

If you would like to help keep the ball rolling even a small amount will help, all funds raised will be used to help fund a place for a young person on a sailing course and potentially help them to a lifetime interest in sailing join and join the enjoyable social network that is Clifden Boat Club.
